Sicilian Syrah has many faces. Here we are dealing with a wine that has not been matured in oak barrels, so we will not find any weight or harshness in it. However, the sun of Sicily works wonders and this wine is characterized by unusual roundness and all the typical aromas and flavors of Syrah from hot regions. So there is a whole palette of notes of ripe raspberries and blueberries, some plum jam and cocoa. The wine is soft, and most importantly – it does not need longer decanting. Best with red meats, especially roasted ones, and game.
