This whisky has been aged initially in former Bourbon American oak barrels, before a finishing period in cask that previously contained Pedro Ximénez sherry.
The result is an extremely flavoursome Jura whisky, which serves up all the classic oily peat and maritime flavours, alongside some delicious notes of jammy fruit, sweet wine, woodspice, toffee and dried fruits.
