Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask Matured is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1879, is renowned for its richly sherried house style, matured in a marriage of sherry and bourbon oak. This expression is matured in a marriage of two cask types for rounded complexity. Notes of buttery toffee, sherried red fruit and soft oak run through to a satisfying finish. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. The generous 100cl bottle offers excellent value. Hints of honey add further depth as it opens in the glass.
