Bacardi 1873 Solera Hecho En Mexico is an aged rum. It comes from Bacardi, the world’s largest family-owned rum house, founded in Santiago de Cuba in 1862.
This release is bottled at 38%.
Nose: Almond, easy mixability and inviting depth.
Palate: Clean sweetness, joined by tropical fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on smooth vanilla.
Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: its single cask identity makes every bottle part of a finite run. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
