Balblair 1975 is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1975. It comes from Balblair, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, releasing elegant, fruit-forward Highland malts.
This release was distilled in 1975, bottled in 2007, bottled at 46%.
Nose: Honey, soft spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Citrus, joined by green apple, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on floral notes.
Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
