Ballantines Black Selected Malt is a blended malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1827, is one of the great names of blended Scotch, prized for its elegant, perfectly balanced house style. Expect vanilla, red apple and milk chocolate on a rounded palate. Equally at home neat, on the rocks, or in your favourite whisky cocktail. Hints of soft honey add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
