Bowmore 22 Years Old Aston Martin Edition#2 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Bowmore, Islay’s oldest distillery, sitting on the shores of Loch Indaal and famed for perfectly balanced smoke and sweetness.

This release was distilled in 1997 and matured for 22 years, bottled at 43%.

Nose: Dark chocolate, sea air and inviting depth.
Palate: Citrus, joined by gentle peat smoke, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on sherried fruit.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
