Bunnahabhain 25 Years Old 70cl

Bunnahabhain 25 Years Old is a 25 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Bunnahabhain, Islay’s gentle giant, producing largely unpeated, sherry-led malts by the Sound of Islay.

This release is bottled at 46.3%.

Nose: Soft spice, caramel and inviting depth.
Palate: Light brine, joined by sherried fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on mocha.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
