El Dorado Special 21 Years Old Rum is an aged rum. It comes from El Dorado, the Demerara rum house drawing on heritage stills — including the last wooden stills in the world.
This release is bottled at 43%.
Nose: Dried fruit, dark chocolate and inviting depth.
Palate: Coffee, joined by deep molasses, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on oak.
Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: stock of this age is only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
