This 9 year old Glenburgie has plenty of spices and a dessert-like finish. Known for its fragrant style of whisky, the majority of Glenburgie is used for blending. This Glenburgie had a second maturation in a fresh tawny port barrique before being bottled this year. A cracking dram and a lovely Port cask finish.
Nose: Aromatic. Fresh herbs and spices. Bakewell tart.
Palate: Strawberries and cream. Malty – barley sugar.
Finish: Dessert-like finish with candy aftertaste.
