Isle Of Jura The Road is an island single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1810, is the only distillery on the remote Isle of Jura, an island of one road, one pub and around two hundred people. The palate delivers walnut, layered with coffee and a finish of soft honey. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. The generous 100cl bottle offers excellent value. Hints of dried fruit add further depth as it opens in the glass. Serve it in a proper nosing glass to catch every aroma. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
