Laphroaig 25 Years Old 70cl

Laphroaig 25 Years Old is a 25 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide.

This release was bottled at 40%, with an outturn of just 2500 bottles.

Nose: Sea salt, sweet vanilla undertones and inviting depth.
Palate: Tar and ash, joined by a surprising sweetness at the core, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on bold peat smoke.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: only 2500 bottles exist; whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
