Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide.

This release is bottled at 48%.

Nose: Seaweed and iodine, sweet vanilla undertones and inviting depth.
Palate: Sea salt, joined by a surprising sweetness at the core, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on tar and ash.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
