Macallan 2018 Easter Elchies Black 70cl

Macallan 2018 Easter Elchies Black is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2018. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release was bottled at 49.2%, with an outturn of just 2000 bottles.

Nose: Orange zest, rich sherried sweetness and inviting depth.
Palate: Polished oak, joined by dark chocolate, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on dried fruits.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: only 2000 bottles exist. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
