Royal Lochnagar 12 Years Old 70c is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1845, is the small distillery beside Balmoral Castle, granted its royal warrant by Queen Victoria herself. Notes of delicate florals, soft fruit and toffee run through to a satisfying finish. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. Hints of honey add further depth as it opens in the glass. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
