The Glenlivet Master Distillers Reserve 9378/02 Small Batch is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Glenlivet, the distillery that started it all — the first licensed in the parish of Glenlivet, setting the benchmark for the smooth, fruity Speyside style.

This release is bottled at 40%.

Nose: Soft vanilla, ripe orchard fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Citrus blossom, joined by clean oak, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on gentle almond.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
