The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve series returns for a sixth edition! No.6 is matured in a combination of Spanish and American oak casks seasoned with oloroso, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and red wine. This release places more of a focus on accentuating notes of wood spice than previous releases, but that’s not to say there isn’t a generous helping of juicy red fruit notes to be found in this English single malt.
