Akashi White Oak Blended Whisky is a Japanese whisky. The distillery, founded in 1919, is White Oak distillery’s malt from the coastal town of Akashi. Expect citrus, honey and gentle spice on a generous palate. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. Hints of soft malt add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
