Ardmore 25 Years Old 70cl

Ardmore 25 Years Old is a 25 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide.

This release is bottled at 51.4%.

Nose: Tar and ash, a surprising sweetness at the core and inviting depth.
Palate: Sweet vanilla undertones, joined by sea salt, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on seaweed and iodine.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
