Balvenie 12 Years Old Double Wood is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day. This expression is matured in a marriage of two cask types for rounded complexity. In the glass it offers orchard fruit and honey, with malty depth on the finish. Best savoured neat, though a single cube of ice softens it nicely. With roots going back to 1892, it carries real heritage in every bottle. With time and a drop of water, vanilla oak comes to the fore.
