Balvenie 15 Years Old 1994-2011 Single Barrel is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.
This release was bottled at 47.8%, with an outturn of just 350 bottles.
Nose: Vanilla oak, orchard fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Malty depth, joined by soft brown sugar, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on honey.
Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: only 350 bottles exist; its single cask identity makes every bottle part of a finite run. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
