Balvenie 17 Years Old Double Wood 70cl

Balvenie 17 Years Old Double Wood is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Honey, vanilla oak and inviting depth.
Palate: Gentle spice, joined by malty depth, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on soft brown sugar.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
