Balvenie 16 Years Old French Oak Pineau Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.

This release is bottled at 47.6%.

Nose: Vanilla oak, gentle spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Soft brown sugar, joined by orchard fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on honey.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
