Balvenie 16 Years Old Triple Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Balvenie, a byword for craftsmanship, maintaining its own floor maltings, coppersmiths and coopers to this day.

This release is bottled at 40%.

Nose: Soft brown sugar, malty depth and inviting depth.
Palate: Honey, joined by orchard fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on gentle spice.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
