Bowmore 15 Years Old Golden & Elegant is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Bowmore, Islay’s oldest distillery, sitting on the shores of Loch Indaal and famed for perfectly balanced smoke and sweetness. Notes of gentle peat smoke, dark chocolate and sherried fruit run through to a satisfying finish. Best savoured neat, though a single cube of ice softens it nicely. The generous 100cl bottle offers excellent value. With roots going back to 1779, it carries real heritage in every bottle. With time and a drop of water, honey comes to the fore. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese.
