Bowmore 25 Years Old 70cl

Bowmore 25 Years Old is a 25 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Bowmore, Islay’s oldest distillery, sitting on the shores of Loch Indaal and famed for perfectly balanced smoke and sweetness.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Sherried fruit, citrus and inviting depth.
Palate: Honey, joined by gentle peat smoke, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on dark chocolate.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
