Bulleit Rye is an American whiskey. The distillery, founded in 1987, is the frontier-style whiskey brand known for its high rye content and apothecary-style bottle. Expect dried fruit, maple and bold rye spice on a well-balanced palate. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. The generous 100cl bottle offers excellent value. Hints of vanilla add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
