Chivas Extra 13 Years Old Oloroso Sherry Casks is a blended Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1801, is the original luxury blended Scotch, built on smooth Speyside malts including Strathisla. This expression is matured in sherry-seasoned oak for extra richness of dried fruit and spice. Expect hazelnut, ripe orchard fruit and butterscotch on a generous palate. Equally at home neat, on the rocks, or in your favourite whisky cocktail. Hints of honey add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
