Claxtons The Red Comyn 12 Years Old is a 12 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 2015, is the Yorkshire-based independent bottler releasing single casks at natural strength. Expect cask-strength intensity, long finish and oak spice on a well-balanced palate. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. Hints of orchard fruit add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate.
