Claxtons Warehouse N.1 Speysides Monster (Mortlach) 16 Years Old is a 16 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky.

This release was bottled at 51.5%, with an outturn of just 352 bottles, at natural colour.

Nose: Long finish, ripe fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Gentle spice, joined by vanilla oak, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on layered depth.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: only 352 bottles exist. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
