Dewars Double Double 27 Years Old is a 27 year old blended Scotch whisky. It comes from Dewars, the double-aged blended Scotch house, married in oak after blending for extra smoothness.

This release is bottled at 46%.

Nose: Vanilla, heather honey and inviting depth.
Palate: Light smoke, joined by toasted nut, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on soft caramel.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
