Glendronach Forgue 10 Years Old 100cl

This expression from GlenDronach, dubbed Forgue, was the first ever expression the distillery released for the Travel Retail market! It’s a 10 year old single malt which has been aged in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, and it packs a hefty flavour profile of dried fruit, nutty malt, and rich toffee. The name, Forgue, comes from the area where the distillery was founded many moons ago.

Nose – Dates and sultanas drizzled in honey, old oak, a hint of citrus peels.

Palate – More honey, now with maple syrup. Malt loaf, cinnamon, milk chocolate buttons.

Finish – Hot cross buns with butter, macadamia nut and walnut loaf.
