Glendronach Revival 18 Years Old Allardice is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Glendronach, a benchmark for heavily sherried whisky, maturing its robust Highland spirit in the finest Oloroso and PX casks.

This release is bottled at 46%.

Nose: Allspice, oloroso richness and inviting depth.
Palate: Chocolate orange, joined by stewed dark fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on old leather.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
