Glengoyne 12 Years Old is a 12 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Glengoyne, the unhurried distillery at the Highland line, air-drying its barley and running the slowest stills in Scotland. Notes of sherried fruit, stewed apple and hazelnut run through to a satisfying finish. Best savoured neat, though a single cube of ice softens it nicely. With roots going back to 1833, it carries real heritage in every bottle. With time and a drop of water, toffee comes to the fore. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese. A bottle that earns a permanent place on the home bar.
