Glengoyne 18 Years Old 70cl

Glengoyne 18 Years Old is a 18 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Glengoyne, the unhurried distillery at the Highland line, air-drying its barley and running the slowest stills in Scotland.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Stewed apple, toffee and inviting depth.
Palate: Soft oak, joined by hazelnut, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on sherried fruit.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
