Glengoyne 21 Years Old 70cl

Glengoyne 21 Years Old is a 21 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Glengoyne, the unhurried distillery at the Highland line, air-drying its barley and running the slowest stills in Scotland.

This release was bottled at 43%, at natural colour.

Nose: Stewed apple, hazelnut and inviting depth.
Palate: Toffee, joined by sherried fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on soft oak.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
