Glenmorangie 1997 Grand Vintage Malt is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1997. It comes from Glenmorangie, celebrated for the tallest stills in Scotland, which create an exceptionally smooth and elegant spirit, and for its pioneering cask finishes.

This release was distilled in 1997, bottled at 43%.

Nose: Vanilla cream, citrus and peach and inviting depth.
Palate: Honey, joined by delicate florals, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on almond.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
