Kavalan Solist Fino Sherry Cask is a single malt whisky. It comes from Kavalan, Taiwan’s trailblazing distillery, whose subtropical climate matures whisky at remarkable speed to world-beating quality.

This release is bottled at 58.6%.

Nose: Rich dried fruit and polished mahogany, exotic spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Sherried fruitcake and dark chocolate, joined by soft oak, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on lingering sherry spice.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
