Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry Cask is a single malt whisky. It comes from Kavalan, Taiwan’s trailblazing distillery, whose subtropical climate matures whisky at remarkable speed to world-beating quality.

This release is bottled at 57.8%.

Nose: Rich dried fruit and polished mahogany, soft oak and inviting depth.
Palate: Sherried fruitcake and dark chocolate, joined by honey, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on lingering sherry spice.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
