Glenrothes 12 Years Old is a 12 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1879, is the Speyside house famous for vintage releases and its distinctive hand-written bottles. Notes of citrus zest, sherried sweetness and vanilla run through to a satisfying finish. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. Hints of ripe berry fruit add further depth as it opens in the glass. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a plate of aged cheese. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
