Isle Of Jura Superstition is an island single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery, founded in 1810, is the only distillery on the remote Isle of Jura, an island of one road, one pub and around two hundred people. Expect dried fruit, walnut and soft honey on a rounded palate. A dram to sip slowly, neat or with just a splash of water. Hints of gentle coastal smoke add further depth as it opens in the glass. Try it alongside blue cheese, dried figs or a square of dark chocolate. One to open on occasions that deserve something better than the everyday.
