Lagavulin 16 Years Old Wooden Box Special Release is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Lagavulin, one of Islay’s most revered distilleries, whose rich, deeply smoky malts define the island for many.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Dried fruit, dark chocolate and inviting depth.
Palate: Long smoky sweetness, joined by thick peat smoke, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on maritime salt.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
