Lagavulin 8 Years Old is a 8 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Lagavulin, one of Islay’s most revered distilleries, whose rich, deeply smoky malts define the island for many.
This release is bottled at 48%.
Nose: Maritime salt, lapsang tea and inviting depth.
Palate: Dark chocolate, joined by dried fruit, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on thick peat smoke.
Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
