Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2000 – 2016 is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Lagavulin, one of Islay’s most revered distilleries, whose rich, deeply smoky malts define the island for many.
This release is bottled at 43%.
Nose: Long smoky sweetness, dried fruit and inviting depth.
Palate: Lapsang tea, joined by thick peat smoke, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on dark chocolate.
Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass.
