Laphroaig 10 Years Old Cask Strength is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from Laphroaig, the most uncompromising of Islay distilleries, whose intensely smoky, medicinal malts inspire devotion worldwide.

This release is bottled at 55.7%.

Nose: Sweet vanilla undertones, sea salt and inviting depth.
Palate: Tar and ash, joined by a surprising sweetness at the core, building in intensity.
Finish: Powerful and warming, closing on seaweed and iodine.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
