Longrow Caja Barolo is a Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky.
This release was distilled in 2000, bottled at 55.8%, with an outturn of just 120 bottles.
Nose: Layered depth, gentle spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Honeyed sweetness, joined by long finish, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on vanilla oak.
Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: only 120 bottles exist. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
