Macallan 1966 Anniversary 25 Years Old is a 25 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Vanilla and toffee, dark chocolate and inviting depth.
Palate: Dried fruits, joined by ginger and cinnamon spice, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on orange zest.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
