Macallan 2020 Rare Cask 70cl

Macallan 2020 Rare Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2020. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Ginger and cinnamon spice, dark chocolate and inviting depth.
Palate: Dried fruits, joined by rich sherried sweetness, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on orange zest.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
