Macallan 25 Years Old Fine Oak 70cl

Macallan 25 Years Old Fine Oak is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 43%.

Nose: Dark chocolate, ginger and cinnamon spice and inviting depth.
Palate: Polished oak, joined by dried fruits, building in intensity.
Finish: Long and layered, closing on vanilla and toffee.

Pour it slowly, add a drop of water if you like, and give it time in the glass. Collector’s note: whiskies of this age are only growing scarcer. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
