Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release I Decade is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It comes from The Macallan, one of the world’s most prestigious single malt distilleries, famed for its exceptional oak casks and its “Six Pillars” of production.

This release is bottled at 43.7%.

Nose: Polished oak, vanilla and toffee and inviting depth.
Palate: Dark chocolate, joined by rich sherried sweetness, building in intensity.
Finish: Elegant and lingering, closing on ginger and cinnamon spice.

Best enjoyed neat, with just a drop of water to unlock the full aroma. Collector’s note: a bottling with clear collector appeal. A strong candidate for the cabinet as much as the glass.
